1) Play a few games in the beginning that will let everybody get to know each other, or play a game with a funny outcome. 2) Make sure your guests are interacting with each other.At the same time, you must interact with them as well. 3) Plan a few events and space them out, so that they are interspersed well with the conversations. 4) Put the food somewhere reachable, preferably on a table. Make sure to have the food ready when your guests arrive.

a) Ask them if they want a theme-based party. If the answer is yes, then ask them to come up with suggestions. b) Tell them to give you their guest-list. Ask them to suggest the menu. c) Make your children go out with the invitations. d) Delegate duties for the D-day. This will make them feel wanted and responsible.
